Nursery
Dunwoody Prep’s Nursery building houses our infants and toddler classrooms. The infant classroom is divided for to offer a quiet sleeping area and active play area.
Preschool
The Dunwoody Prep Preschool building houses seven classrooms for children ages 3-5, our kitchen, offices, and rainy day room with Promethean Board. All classrooms have observation windows and adjoining bathrooms with child size toilets.
Active Play
Dunwoody Prep’s campus includes three outdoor playgrounds. The infant playground is adjacent to their classroom and is fully covered thus shading our babies from the bright Atlanta sunshine
Our Toddler and Two-Year-Old Playground
includes multiple climbers, slides and tunnels and is accessed directly from the Nursery Building
The Preschool Playground
includes a playhouse, climbers, tires swings, and lots more! All the playgrounds offer shady and sunny areas for play.
Our Gym
is complete with a soft floor, ceiling fans and loads of equipment. Children spend time engaging in both structured gross motor activities and child selected play in the gym.
Garden
Dunwoody Prep’s Garden is surrounded by butterfly bushes, trees and flowers. The garden has benches, brick paths and includes a large water fountain and art created especially for our school. This serene space is used regularly by classrooms for outdoor learning.
Kitchen
Dunwoody Prep is proud to have a full time chef on site to prepare food that is fresh and homemade.  Our lunch menu offers both meat and vegetarian choices daily. We do not serve beef or pork and are a nut free environment. Freshly cut fruit is served twice a day alongside hormone free milk. All meals and snacks meet the USDA meal requirements and we happily accommodate children with food restrictions and/or allergies. We serve early morning breakfast, morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack to children over one year of age. Our teachers work with the parents of infants who are being introduced to table food as part of that child’s individualized meal plan. As you walk through the halls, you’ll enjoy aromas such as the sweetness of fresh scones baking or savory pasta sauce made from scratch. Dunwoody Prep students report that some of their favorite lunch items are baked potato cheese soup, turkey tacos, quesadillas, arroz con pollo (rice with chicken), teriyaki tofu and, of course, macaroni & cheese ~ all of which are made from scratch!
 Security
Keeping your children and our staff safe is paramount at Dunwoody Prep. Families and staff enter and exit through exterior doors and playground gates that have secure access codes. Our playgrounds are surrounded by iron and brick fencing which keeps our children safe inside the designated play spaces. We have 48 security cameras that record the entire perimeter of our property including the garden and playgrounds in addition to all interior spaces of our school including the classrooms and the gym.
