Dunwoody Prep occupies three buildings in the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center. Dunwoody Village is located on the north east corner of the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Chamblee Dunwoody roads alongside Dunwoody Village Parkway. Dunwoody Village Shopping Center includes Fresh Market, Walgreens, and the Dunwoody Post Office.
From I-285, take the Ashford Dunwoody Road exit. Proceed north past Perimeter Mall and Wal-Mart. Turn right onto Mount Vernon. Cross straight through the light at Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Turn left into the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center. Turn left once you are in the parking lot. Dunwoody Prep is located behind the Wells Fargo Bank building. All visitors should enter the white, wooden building (under the long, thin BLUE Dunwoody Prep sign).
From GA400 North, take exit 5A toward Dunwoody onto Abernathy Rd. Turn left onto Mount Vernon. Cross straight through the light at Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Turn left into the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center. Turn left once you are in the parking lot. Dunwoody Prep is located behind the Wells Fargo Bank building. All visitors should enter the white, wooden building (under the long, thin BLUE Dunwoody Prep sign).
From GA400 South, take exit 6 (Northridge Road). Turn right onto Northridge Road then turn right onto Roberts Drive. Roberts Drive becomes Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Pass Davis Academy, Austin Elementary, and Mellow Mushroom. Turn left into the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center (just after Starbucks). Once you are in the parking lot, turn right at Walgreens. Dunwoody Prep is located on the opposite corner of the building as Walgreens (drive past Fresh Market, Jimmy Johns and Berkshire Hathaway). All visitors should enter the white, wooden building (under the long, thin BLUE Dunwoody Prep sign).
We offer full time, year round care. We are open from 7:15 AM until 6:15 PM unless otherwise noted on our published school calendar.
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Study of Early Child Care, is the largest and most rigorous examination of day care in history, taking into account family income and the quality of day care. Current results clearly show children at a very young age benefit from fewer hours in child care. For the benefit of our infants and toddlers, there is a ten-hour maximum attendance per day for a child enrolled in Dunwoody Prep’s Nursery Building.
